POKOTABI / YUMENOSHIMA Cafe
夢の島カフェ
Looking out over the greenery of the Yumenoshima Tropical Greenhouse Dome, YUMENOSHIMA Cafe serves curries, loco moco bowls, chilled acai bowls, and an array of ice creams.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Located inside the Yumenoshima Tropical Greenhouse Dome, YUMENOSHIMA Cafe is a relaxing spot with broad windows overlooking lush botanical scenery. Surrounded by greenery, visitors can pause mid-stroll to enjoy a satisfying meal or refreshing dessert.
The food menu leans into tropical flavors tailored to the greenhouse setting. Highlights include a bright lemon curry made with Ogasawara lemons, a classic loco moco bowl topped with a hamburger patty and egg, and a cheesy taco rice seasoned with spicy Ogasco chili sauce. Heartier and milder alternatives, such as minced-meat dry curry or Spam rice, let diners tailor their meal to their appetite.
Chilled treats offer welcome relief after walking through the dome. The tropical acai bowl, layered over a refreshing sorbet base, delivers a brisk fruity tang, while the fluffy mascarpone pancakes suit a relaxed afternoon tea. Frozen options are plentiful, ranging from Hanbun Coconut and Hanbun Cacao served directly inside real fruit shells to purple yam ube ice cream and mango soft serve.
Drink choices include crisp Ogasawara lemon soda, rich mango juice, hot drip coffee, and monthly rotating herbal teas, allowing everyone to unwind at their own rhythm. Gazing at the greenhouse foliage with a tropical refreshment makes for a calm and restorative stop.
